A REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard is a card that carries funds loaded onto the card by the program sponsor (the company that gave you the card, or that appears on the front of the card other than the bank or Mastercard.) Once funds are deposited on the card, you can make purchases, in-store or online, for goods and services at millions of locations where Mastercard is accepted. The REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard is NOT a credit card. Each time the card is used, the purchase amount is deducted from the available balance on the card. There is a cardholder agreement that provides information about the card and should be read before using your REV Prepaid Mastercard.
Your REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard can be used anywhere that Mastercard is accepted, there are countless opportunities to shop all over world, including retail and online. If you have ATM access, you have millions of ATM’s to choose from internationally.

Yes, the REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard expires on the last day of the month and year indicated on the front of the card.
Every REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard has EMV Technology. EMV is a security standard for storing account information. It is an alternative to the magnetic stripe (mag stripe) that has traditionally been used to store information on the backs of cards. Some exceptions may apply. Please check with your merchant before making your purchases. The merchants’ machine may ask you to sign or just input your PIN.
To make a split payment with your REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard, you should let the merchant know in advance that you would like to split the payment and advise the merchant of the amount you would like applied against your card. (Please note that some merchants do not allow split payments). You should be aware of the balance available on the card in advance of making a payment.
When purchasing online, please enter card information and personal details. This is similar to an online credit card purchase. Please follow the steps online.
For merchandise returns, you will need to deal directly with the merchant; each merchant has its own return policy. Keep the card and purchase receipts, even after the balance is depleted, as you may be asked to present them in order to process the return. When the merchant’s policy is to credit the card used for purchases (rather than provide cash or a store credit), the available balance on the card will be increased by the amount of the refund (typically within 3 to 5 business days).
Yes, you can pay at the pump or in-store if the merchant does not support payment at the pump.
When using at restaurants, hotels or for similar purchases, merchants may pre-authorize up to 20% or more, so please make sure there are sufficient funds on the card.
A pre-authorization is a temporary hold that is placed on a portion of your funds over and above the actual purchase amount. This is also commonly referred to as a “pre-auth” or “auth-only”.
Tolerance is a temporary charge added to your REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercard when it is used at hotels, restaurants, bars, and salons. (Usually at places that add gratuities for their services.) The tolerance amount could account for up to an additional 20% of your bill. Once the transaction has settled, the tolerance is then released and no longer held. Example: If your total bill at a restaurant is $100, the card may be preauthorized for $100 + 20%. Although you will only be charged for the actual total that is signed for, you will need an available balance of at least $120 on the card for the transaction to be approved. If your total, after adding in the tolerance amount, exceeds the balance on the card, the transaction will be declined.
No, REV Prepaid Prepaid Mastercards cannot be used to make recurring payments.
